My Assessment of Clawbass Bonanza 2000
ClawBass Bonanza 2000 is Clawbuster's more aggressive version of its fishing-themed claw slot. The familiar 6x5 Pay Anywhere grid, cascades, Bait collection and six fishing claws remain, but the top Treasure Multiplier rises from 100x in the original ClawBass Bonanza to 2,000x. The overall win is capped at 10,000x stake.
My assessment is straightforward: the sequel makes the feature ceiling substantially bigger without changing the basic rhythm. That will appeal to multiplier hunters, but the published RTP varies between roughly 94.01% and 95% across available versions. Either figure is expensive compared with many established online slots, so the number inside the loaded game matters.

Pay Anywhere cascades
At least eight matching fish or coloured star symbols pay anywhere on the screen; they do not have to follow a line or form an adjacent cluster. Winning symbols disappear and replacements fall into place. Another qualifying group continues the cascade without requiring a second paid spin.
The base grid is easy to read, but its real purpose is to feed the BombaClaw system. Bait symbols advance the meter above the reels, unlocking fishing claws one by one. The meter resets when a base-game cascade sequence ends, so a near-complete bar is not progress that should be chased indefinitely.
Fishing claws and 2,000x multipliers
Unlocked claws can drop towards Treasure Multipliers and collect values between 2x and 2,000x. Collected multipliers are applied to the eligible win under the game's rules. A printed 2,000x value is not automatically a 2,000x payout: a claw must be available, the value must be collected and a qualifying result must exist.
I like how clearly the fishing theme explains the mechanism. The bait opens more lines, and the lines hook multipliers. It is more coherent than attaching a fisherman to an otherwise unrelated free-spins collector. The drawback is that missed high multipliers are very visible, which can make the next spin feel more tempting even though it remains independent.
Free spins and persistent progress
Four or more jellyfish Scatters award ten free spins. The feature begins with at least one claw unlocked and can carry additional claws from the triggering sequence. Three more Scatters add five spins, and available rules do not specify a fixed retrigger limit.
The important change is persistence: claw progress does not reset after each free spin. That gives Bait symbols collected early in the feature more potential value later. It still does not establish a minimum return. A long bonus can contain many small Pay Anywhere wins and no useful 2,000x interaction.
Bonus bets and feature purchases
Commonly listed purchase options cost 100x stake with one claw, 200x with three claws and 400x with all six. Bonus-bet modes can also increase feature or Bait activity. These prices and RTPs should be checked in the current help screen because operators can offer different configurations or disable purchases altogether.
A 400x purchase removes much of the claw-building work but places 400 base stakes at risk immediately. Starting in a stronger state does not guarantee that the purchased feature will recover its price. For Australians, accessibility at an offshore casino also does not equal local authorisation; real-money online casino services are prohibited from being offered to people physically present in Australia.
Presentation and verdict
The calm ocean backdrop, pastel fish and light soundtrack contrast effectively with the very high volatility. On mobile, the six-reel grid and row of claws can feel crowded, although the main symbols remain distinguishable. Demo mode is useful for learning the Bait meter and purchase choices, not for estimating the likelihood of a 10,000x result.
The game best suits players who enjoy visible progress but understand that the progress is temporary. It is a poor match for anyone who finds almost-completed meters difficult to leave behind. I would set a turnover limit before starting and judge the session by the balance change, not by how many claws were nearly unlocked. A 28.84% hit rate also counts all qualifying payouts, including returns smaller than the stake, so it should not be read as a profit frequency.
ClawBass Bonanza 2000 is a genuine mechanical upgrade for players who already like the original, but its lower RTP configurations deserve attention. I prefer its thematic logic to many fishing slots, yet I would choose it for the claw interaction rather than the headline maximum. My rating is 4.1/5.
