My Assessment of 3 Pots Bonanza
3 Pots Bonanza combines a 6x5 Pay Anywhere grid with Wild West imagery, cascading wins, three collection pots and a Super Bomb capable of producing multipliers up to 2,000x. It is a feature-heavy Clawbuster release, but the central idea is simple: coloured special symbols feed the pots above the reels, and opening them changes the bonus state.
I regard the original as the more volatile, multiplier-led member of the pair. The later Wild Frames edition gives each chest a clearly defined modifier and moves to medium volatility. This game instead concentrates attention on collection, mystery outcomes and the Super Bomb.

Base-game rhythm
Matching symbols pay by quantity anywhere on the screen rather than across fixed lines. Symbols belonging to a win disappear, replacements drop down and another qualifying group continues the same round. Cascades can therefore produce several payouts from one stake, although most sequences still end quickly.
The saloon-style symbols, buffalo, wolves and treasure imagery are familiar territory. What keeps the game from becoming another generic Western reskin is the three-pot display. Special coloured symbols contribute to corresponding chests, giving the base game a visible objective beyond waiting for Scatters.
Three pots and mystery outcomes
Each pot collects its own symbols. Filling or opening a chest can activate a modifier, extend feature play or move the round towards a stronger combined state. The exact award is determined by the game; choosing a stake pattern cannot direct which pot fills first or what it produces.
Collection meters are good at explaining progress, but they also create a behavioural trap. A nearly full pot looks valuable even when the next qualifying symbol has no guaranteed arrival time. Unless the help screen says the state persists, I assume unfinished progress can expire and never treat it as a reason to chase.
Super Bomb multipliers
The Super Bomb supplies the game's largest advertised multiplier values, reaching as high as 2,000x. A multiplier still requires an eligible win and remains subject to the overall 10,000x cap. It is not equivalent to a 2,000x cash award whenever the symbol appears.
This is where most of the high-volatility character comes from. Ordinary cascades provide movement, but the largest portion of potential sits behind uncommon combinations of pot progress, bonus access and multiplier delivery.
Free spins and optional access
Coloured Scatter symbols trigger free spins, where the pot and multiplier systems receive more opportunities to interact. Additional Scatters can add spins. Bonus Buy and bonus-bet controls may also be present, depending on market and operator.
The official distributor sheet lists 96.20% RTP, while some game databases and installations show 95%. That 1.20-point difference changes the theoretical house edge from 3.80% to 5%. I would therefore use the figure displayed inside the current game rather than assume the best published configuration is installed.
What the hit rate does and does not say
The published 23.13% hit rate suggests that some kind of paying result occurs on roughly 23 rounds per 100 over the model's long run. It does not mean one bonus in every four spins, nor does it indicate the size of those payouts. A return below the original stake still counts as a hit while reducing the balance.
This distinction matters in a pot collector because frequent small cascades can make the session appear productive. They may advance animations without opening the desired chest or recovering the money wagered. I use hit frequency to understand rhythm, not to estimate profitability.
Visual design and practical fit
The three coloured pots make a busy Western grid easier to navigate. Sound cues clearly separate ordinary cascades, collection events and the Super Bomb. On mobile, the upper feature display reduces symbol size, so learning the pot colours in demo mode is worthwhile before using faster play.
This version suits players who prefer mystery collection and a rare multiplier event. Those wanting a more predictable explanation of what each chest does should consider Wild Frames, where every colour has a fixed role. Neither structure improves the player's control over the random outcome.
My verdict
3 Pots Bonanza has enough mechanical substance to justify its crowded interface. The pots give cascades direction, and the Super Bomb provides a clear high-end event. I prefer the feature concept to the generic Western artwork, which does little that other gold-rush slots have not already done.
My rating is 4.5/5. The 96.20% configuration is respectable, but players may encounter a lower version, and high volatility makes the 10,000x ceiling poor evidence of likely session value. Demo mode is the sensible place to learn which symbols feed each chest. More games from the studio are listed on the Clawbuster page.
