My Assessment of 3 Pots Bonanza Wild Frames
3 Pots Bonanza: Wild Frames rebuilds the original around three clearly separated chest powers. The blue chest unlocks free spins, the red chest adds sticky multiplier frames that can double during cascades, and the orange chest converts a random symbol into a Wild. More than one chest can open during the same bonus, allowing the modifiers to operate together on the 6x5 grid.
This is the smarter of the two designs in my view. Instead of treating all pot progress as mystery suspense, it tells the player what each colour changes. Medium volatility also distinguishes it from the high-volatility 3 Pots Bonanza, although a 10,000x maximum still leaves room for highly uneven feature results.

How the three chests work
Colour-matched special symbols feed the blue, red and orange chests. Opening blue starts or expands free-spins play. Red places multiplier frames on positions in the grid; those frames can remain active and double through cascades. Orange selects a regular symbol and transforms matching instances into Wilds.
The useful twist is that unopened chests can still activate during the feature. A bonus may begin with only one modifier and acquire another partway through, changing the remaining spins. This creates genuine state progression rather than merely revealing a fixed cash prize from each pot.
Sticky Wild Frames
A framed position carries a multiplier, and participating in a cascade can increase its value. Because the frame belongs to the cell rather than a particular symbol, replacement symbols can later use the same enhanced position. During the relevant bonus state, those frames remain available across spins.
A high frame is not a global multiplier. A paying group must land through that position before its value contributes. I like this rule because it makes the board state readable, but it also means an impressive frame can remain unused at the end of the feature.
Random Wild conversion
The orange chest converts a randomly selected symbol into a Wild, improving its ability to participate in Pay Anywhere groups. Its practical strength depends on which symbol is chosen, how many instances are present and whether multiplier frames sit in useful positions.
When red and orange operate together, the game is at its most coherent: Wild conversion helps form a payout, while framed cells can multiply it. Blue supplies the time for those interactions to occur. None of this creates player control over the selected symbol or the next cascade.
RTP and optional modes
Current installations list RTP between 94.92% and 95%. The difference is small, but both produce a house edge of about five per cent. Medium volatility should not be interpreted as low risk; it describes the distribution of outcomes, while the house advantage still applies to total turnover.
Bonus Buy and Scatter-boosting bets may be available. They alter feature access and cost, not the randomness of the result. Before selecting one, I would check which chests begin open, how many spins are supplied and whether that mode has a separate RTP.
Visual design and verdict
The Western setting is conventional, but the blue, red and orange system gives the interface strong visual organisation. Once two or three modifiers run together, the screen becomes busy; the colours still make it possible to understand whether free spins, frames or Wild conversion caused the change.
Medium volatility makes this the more approachable 3 Pots version on paper, but it does not promise smooth session results. The maximum remains 10,000x, and part of the feature value is still concentrated in bonuses where several modifiers overlap. A short session can miss that combination entirely.
I would choose Wild Frames over the original when transparency matters. Knowing that blue supplies spins, red supplies multipliers and orange supplies Wilds makes it easier to evaluate the board. I would choose the original only when the mystery-pot presentation and higher-volatility Super Bomb are the main attraction. In either case, unfinished chest progress should not be chased beyond a preset spending or time limit.
I rate 3 Pots Bonanza: Wild Frames 4.1/5. It is a more transparent and mechanically integrated sequel, with the mid-feature chest unlocks providing the best idea. The RTP is not generous, and the 10,000x cap should be treated as a limit rather than an expectation. The Bonanza catalogue provides alternatives for players who prefer simpler cascades or higher published returns.
