About Skywind
Skywind is a multi-product iGaming supplier founded in 2012. Its current corporate profile lists more than 250 games, over 250 employees, four offices, seven licences and distribution through more than 1,000 operators. The old text on this page understated the catalogue and treated every licence as proof that every casino was safe. My rating is 3. I see Skywind as a technically capable supplier with unusually broad game formats, but its multiple RTP configurations make the exact operator build more important than the provider name alone.

These numbers come from Skywind's current corporate website and describe the wider group rather than only the Bonanza titles listed on this page. Skywind is a supplier, not the casino holding a player's balance. Its licences govern the company in particular markets; they do not automatically approve every operator that happens to offer a Skywind game.
Company background
Skywind says it was established by industry professionals in 2012 and now develops casino content on its own platform. The business covers conventional slots, Megaways releases, progressive jackpot games, localised content and Live Casino products. It also supplies operator tools such as in-game tournaments, Lucky Envelopes, free bets and configurable jackpots.
The group expanded its UK presence by acquiring Intouch Games Group in June 2022. Skywind's present website separates its main Games catalogue from a dedicated Slot Factory Games section. This distinction appears in game codes as well: many native Skywind releases use an sw_ prefix, while titles such as Pots O' Gold Bonanza use an itg_ code and appear under Slot Factory.
I think that distinction is worth preserving in reviews. A casino lobby may label everything simply as Skywind because the group distributes the content, while the studio identity and mathematical style can come from a different part of the portfolio.

This list confirms that Skywind is authorised as a supplier or registrant in those systems. It does not mean a particular offshore casino is licensed in Australia, nor does it turn a European B2B authorisation into permission to offer online casino services to Australians.
The updated Skywind Bonanza catalogue
The original provider copy highlighted only three colourful games and even misspelled Sugar Bonanza Deluxe as “Sugar Banana Deluxe”. The current catalogue on Slots Bonanza is broader and shows several distinct branches rather than one repeated format.
Pay-anywhere cascade games
Sugar Bonanza Deluxe, widely released in March 2023, uses a 6x5 grid where eight or more identical symbols pay anywhere. Winning icons collapse and refill, while Free Games introduce additive 2x–100x Jelly multipliers. The highest RTP is 96.50% and the maximum is 10,000x, but lower 94.50% and 89.50% builds exist.
Ocean Gems Bonanza applies a similar 6x5 structure to an underwater theme. Four, five or six Scatters award 10, 15 or 20 Free Games, and multiplier Pearls can add values from 2x to 100x. Its top configuration returns 96.50%, with 94.00% and 89.50% alternatives. I prefer its visual clarity, although the base game is sparse without the bonus multipliers.
Fisherman's Fury Bonanza is more mechanically distinctive. Four consecutive cascades in the base game activate the collection of visible Fish values; Free Games reduce that threshold to three and can add Chum Bucket, Golden Rod, Fishing Net or Shark modifiers. Its correct modern specification is a 6x5 pay-anywhere grid with a published maximum of 5,000x, not the 5x3 payline game and 1,000x cap shown in older copy.
Pots O' Gold Bonanza belongs to the Slot Factory side of the portfolio. It combines eight-symbol scatter pays and cascades with coin values displayed around the reels. Four Mega Pots can collect those values, while Free Spins add 2x–4x multipliers and a route to Ultra Spin. Skywind officially lists RTP versions of 96.46%, 93.96% and 91.94%, plus volatility of 4/5. The enforceable game maximum is 2,000x.
Fishing and wildlife collectors
Wild Fish Bonanza, released in July 2025, returns to a compact 5x3 grid with 10 paylines. Wild Fishing Free Games count Fishermen at 3, 7 and 12 to award extra spins and upgrade the collection multiplier to 2x, 3x and 10x. Bigger Catch adds a bottom row and makes each Fisherman collect the value on the same reel. The maximum is 10,000x.
The most important caveat is its wide RTP supply range. Release material lists versions from 86.00% to 96.50%, and a current regulated operator offers 94.50%. That is a larger mathematical difference than any theme or bonus preference.
Wild Moose Bonanza, widely released in August 2026, adapts the collector format to a forest setting. Wild Feeding develops through blue Scatter thresholds, while Bigger Moose uses a persistent bottom row and same-reel collections. Bush Bonanza and Angry Bear can create extra Money symbols. Operator listings currently expose builds from 92.00% to 96.50%, so the help screen again takes priority.
Megaways and classic Bonanza releases
Big Top Bonanza Megaways uses six variable-height reels and a top modifier row. Its maximum layout is 7x8x8x8x8x7, producing 200,704 ways rather than the standard 117,649 often quoted for Megaways games. Clown, Mystic and Strongman modifiers can add Wilds, multipliers, extra ways or symbol upgrades. Free Games retain a progressive multiplier and can retrigger repeatedly. RTP options are 96.50%, 94.50% and 89.50%, with a 5,000x maximum.
Super Lion Bonanza and Bushtucker Bonanza remain part of the older selection. Their headline specifications are less competitive: the page lists 94.50% RTP for Super Lion and 94.00% for Bushtucker. I would check both games directly because Skywind frequently distributes more than one mathematical build.
Recurring Skywind mechanics
| Mechanic | How Skywind uses it | What I check before playing |
|---|---|---|
| Pay anywhere | Usually 8+ identical symbols pay on a 6x5 grid without adjacency requirements. | Whether the game uses scatter pays or true connected clusters. |
| Cascades | Winning symbols disappear and the grid refills within the same paid spin. | Whether cascades are unlimited or capped, as in Pots O' Gold Bonanza. |
| Additive multipliers | Several bonus multipliers may be summed before applying to a win. | The exact calculation and whether a simultaneous win is required. |
| Collectors | A Fisherman, Ranger or pot collects visible Money values. | Which positions qualify and whether uncollected values persist. |
| Progress meters | Fishermen, Scatters or cascades advance towards extra spins and multipliers. | Whether progress resets after a spin, bonus or threshold. |
| RTP variants | The same title may be supplied at several theoretical return settings. | The number shown in the live game's help menu. |
| Enhanced stake controls | Double Chance, Buy In or similar options alter feature access. | Total cost, active RTP and what the option actually guarantees. |
RTP policy and volatility
Skywind's Bonanza games cannot be assessed from one portfolio-wide RTP figure. The top versions of Sugar Bonanza Deluxe, Ocean Gems Bonanza, Big Top Bonanza Megaways and Wild Fish Bonanza reach 96.50%, while their lowest documented configurations can fall to 89.50% or even 86.00%. Pots O' Gold Bonanza spans 96.46% to 91.94%.
Those are not cosmetic differences. At equal turnover, a lower RTP means a larger mathematical house edge. RTP is still a long-run average rather than a session forecast, and a 96.50% game can lose quickly. It is simply less costly in theoretical terms than an 89.50% or 86.00% version.
Volatility also varies. Big Top is rated medium at its two higher RTP settings, while Wild Moose is high and Pots O' Gold is officially 4/5. A 10,000x maximum says nothing about how often the cap occurs. I use volatility to choose a sustainable stake, not as evidence that a large win is due.
What Skywind does well
- The portfolio covers pay-anywhere grids, fixed paylines, Megaways, collectors and Live Casino rather than one slot template.
- Feature states are usually visible through counters, outer pots, bottom rows or clearly labelled modifier symbols.
- Recent fishing and wildlife games offer two genuinely different Free Games modes.
- HTML5 interfaces generally scale well to phones and retain readable value labels.
- The official website publishes RTP configurations for many games instead of presenting one universal figure.
Where the portfolio falls short
- Some titles are distributed at extremely low RTP settings, including documented 86.00% and 89.50% builds.
- Visible Money symbols and collection displays can look like stored value even when they expire uncollected.
- Several games place most of their interesting mathematics inside Free Games, leaving a plain base round.
- Casino lobbies do not always distinguish Skywind Studios, Slot Factory and other group content clearly.
- Bonus purchases and enhanced stake options can compress a large amount of turnover into a short period.
Mobile experience
Skywind builds in HTML5, and the reviewed games work across desktop and compatible mobile browsers. Compact five-reel collectors such as Wild Fish Bonanza are particularly comfortable in portrait mode. Six-reel pay-anywhere grids remain readable, although value labels and outer-pot displays can make the smallest screens busy.
Touch controls do not change RTP or random outcomes. Turbo modes and automatic play, where available, can increase the speed at which money is staked, so I consider session duration and total turnover rather than treating faster animation as merely cosmetic.
Australian availability and responsible play
Skywind's seven listed licences do not include an Australian online-casino supplier approval that makes these games generally available to local consumers. Online casino services are generally prohibited from being offered to people in Australia. A game loading from an offshore site is not proof that the operator may lawfully serve Australians.
Players elsewhere should verify the casino licence, active RTP, stake limits and feature settings in their own jurisdiction. Collection meters, near-misses and displayed Money values do not predict the next random result. Never borrow, chase losses or raise the stake because a bonus appears close.
Final assessment
Skywind receives 3 from me. The provider is substantially larger and more diverse than the old three-sentence profile suggested. Its best Bonanza releases attach a clear purpose to cascades or collections: Fisherman's Fury makes consecutive wins fill a collection counter, Big Top links top-reel characters to escalating modifiers, and Wild Fish offers two different collector structures.
The main weakness is configuration inconsistency. I would judge a Skywind game by the RTP displayed inside that exact build, not by the highest number in a review or by the supplier's licences. Readers can explore the complete pokies catalogue for further providers and mechanic categories.
