About Infinity Dragon
Infinity Dragon Studios is an independent casino game developer focused on premium, high-volatility video slots. Its team describes itself as having experience across video games, land-based gaming and online casinos, with an emphasis on large mathematical potential, polished audio-visual presentation and recognisable feature brands.
The studio distributes content through publishing partners rather than operating casinos itself. Its portfolio includes Link&Win, Power Combo and other feature families, with games designed for European, American and Asian markets. Infinity Dragon is not the same company as Alchemy Gaming, even though both studios have worked within the Games Global ecosystem and have used the X UP mechanic.
That distinction is particularly important here. Chili Bonanza X UP was created by Infinity Dragon using a feature originally associated with Alchemy Gaming. It should not be attributed to Alchemy simply because X UP appears in the title.
Infinity Dragon's Bonanza Games
The provider currently has two substantial Bonanza releases: Chili Bonanza X UP and Rainbow Bonanza Paddy's Fortunes. Unlike many loosely connected provider ranges, these games use genuinely different layouts and feature structures.
| Game | Layout | RTP | Maximum win | Core mechanic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chili Bonanza X UP | 5×3 with 243 ways | Up to 96.33% | 50,000× | X UP multiplier progression and expanding wilds |
| Rainbow Bonanza Paddy's Fortunes | 3-4-5-4-3 with 720 bi-directional ways | Up to 96.01% | 5,000× | Stacked wilds, coin collection, bonus wheel and free spins |
Chili Bonanza X UP
Chili Bonanza X UP uses five reels, three rows and 243 ways. Wins form with matching symbols on adjacent reels rather than along fixed paylines. Expanding wilds can cover full reels, improving the chance of completing several ways simultaneously.
The X UP system is the defining feature. Tokens collected during the game advance a ladder that determines the multiplier applied in free spins. The multiplier can reach 50×, and further qualifying events during the bonus may continue improving it.
This creates an unusual tension. Triggering free spins is normally treated as an immediate success, but the X UP trail encourages the player to notice whether the feature begins with a weak or advanced multiplier. Optional Upsizer controls may allow the starting position to be improved for an additional price.
I like the visibility of the system because the game shows exactly what is being upgraded. I am less enthusiastic about paid Upsizer options. Once a feature has triggered, asking for another wager exploits the natural desire to make that rare event stronger. Paying more does not guarantee that the upgraded bonus will recover its combined cost.
| Chili Bonanza feature | Role |
|---|---|
| Expanding Wilds | Cover complete reels and substitute in 243-way wins |
| X UP tokens | Advance the free-spin multiplier ladder |
| Free Spins | Apply the achieved multiplier to qualifying wins |
| Upsizer | Offers paid multiplier improvement where permitted |
| Bonus Buy | Provides direct bonus access in eligible jurisdictions |
The 50,000× maximum is extremely ambitious beside the compact 5×3 layout. It is supported by the highest multiplier levels and exceptional symbol combinations rather than ordinary base-game play. The published RTP is configurable, with lower 94.10% and 92.10% versions reported alongside the 96.33% top setting. This makes checking the live help screen essential.
Rainbow Bonanza Paddy's Fortunes
Rainbow Bonanza Paddy's Fortunes, released in January 2025, is the more original of the pair. It uses a tapered 3-4-5-4-3 grid with 720 ways, and combinations can pay in both directions.
Wild symbols can create stacked Paddy Wilds. Coin symbols feed a Pot of Gold collection system, increasing the available bonus prizes. The Pot of Gold Bonus Wheel guarantees one of five awards when activated, with the highest corresponding to the game's 5,000× maximum.
Free spins are triggered by landing the five LUCKY letters across the reels. The triggering symbols reveal additional spins or multiplier improvements, and further scatters during the feature can continue developing the bonus.
This game feels less dependent on borrowed mechanical identity. The tapered layout, bi-directional ways, coin pot and LUCKY trigger create a more distinctive package than the familiar X UP ladder. In my view, Rainbow Bonanza is better evidence of Infinity Dragon's own design ability.
Is Infinity Dragon Building a Genuine Series?
Two mechanically different games are not a conventional sequel line, but they establish a meaningful Bonanza mini-range. Both offer visible progression and high-volatility bonus potential, even though one uses chilli multipliers and the other uses coin collection and a wheel.
The studio is clearly using “Bonanza” for commercial recognition, yet the games are not superficial reskins. Each has its own grid and central feature. That places Infinity Dragon above providers that have attached the name to a single standard slot without changing the underlying experience.
My main reservation is RTP configuration. A drop from 96.33% to 92.10% in Chili Bonanza X UP materially changes long-term value while leaving the artwork and title unchanged. Rainbow Bonanza is also known to have lower certified variants. I would check the actual percentage before considering either game.
For the page itself, the provider attribution should be corrected before publication. Alchemy Gaming deserves credit for originating X UP, but Chili Bonanza X UP and Rainbow Bonanza Paddy's Fortunes belong to Infinity Dragon Studios.
